I built and designed a vending machine, operable with a steel ball bearing, out of foam core, wire, rubber bands, and coins. It was designed to dispense life advice to Stanford students feeling lonely, tired, or overwhelmed. This demo below illustrates the functionality of the machine and its core mechanisms.
