I was selected by President Obama and Brian Chesky to conduct a global service project as an inaugural Obama-Chesky Scholar. I created Design for Bangladesh, a design thinking accelerator program to teach low-income Bangladeshi college students at Eastern University about applied design thinking. I’m working on using design thinking to help the 10 inaugural students develop 5 separate prototypes that address relevant issues, including excessive rainfall, rolling blackouts, and education disparities.
